Gilkerson Gardens is a fourth-generation family farm just east of Brookings at 520 34th Ave, running a raw-milk dairy, greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers, and a year-round hydroponic lettuce operation. Field crops include asparagus, melons, strawberries, squash, and pumpkins, grown in soil with organic methods though not certified. The farm store also carries local eggs, meat, honey, and maple syrup. They sell at the Brookings and Watertown farmers markets.
