About This Farm
Good Roots Farm & Gardens grows organic vegetables and four acres of aronia berries on 40 acres a mile and a half north of Brookings, at 3712 Medary Ave. The family has farmed the ground since 1946, and a restored 98-year-old barn now anchors farm-to-fork dinners, weddings, and summer pizza nights fired in outdoor wood ovens. A high tunnel, small apple orchard, and a few goats round out the place.
