Susan Bergen built Peach Crest Farm from a 100-acre peach orchard near Stratford, the self-styled Peach Capital, and added vegetable ground for tomatoes, summer squash, and beets. Peaches run pick-your-own from early June to mid-August, and the farm makes its own jams, salsas, and barbecue sauces from the harvest. Stratford's annual Peach Festival celebrates the local crop.
