U-Pick Red Barn is a u-pick pumpkin patch in Idaho Falls, Idaho, open each fall from mid-September through October 31. Cousins McNeil and Chase Walker started it as boys across from the zoo, and it has grown from two acres to nearly 20 acres of orange, white, striped, green and red pumpkins. Picking pumpkins carries no entrance fee, and wristbands cover activities such as pumpkin cannons, a train, a straw maze, jump pads, slides, a corn pit and vintage tractor hayrides. It opens Monday through Thursday 9am to 8pm and Friday and Saturday 9am to 9pm, and is closed Sundays.
