Applestem Corn Maze/pumpkin patch/sunflowers

Craig, MT

Applestem cuts a 10-acre corn maze into miles of trails each fall along the Craig Frontage Road, near the trout water of the Missouri River. The Scott Blackman family runs it with duck races, a tube slide, a corn tent, and farm animals for kids. The maze opens mid-September through October on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. General admission is $11 for ages five and up, and younger kids get in free.

Cut Flower Farm

Livingston, MT

The flower farm at 620 N G Street in Livingston trades under the name Petal Peaks. It grows dahlias, lisianthus, anemones, ranunculus, and snapdragons on a small plot at the edge of town. Weekend U-pick lets you cut and arrange your own bouquet through the season. They also sell DIY wedding flower buckets, spring vegetable and herb seedlings, and dahlia tubers each spring.

Gallatin Valley Botanical

Bozeman, MT

Gallatin Valley Botanical is Matt and Jacy Rothschiller's certified organic farm in the Rocky Creek bottomlands near Bozeman, growing organic vegetables for Gallatin Valley chefs and families since 2003 — now expanded onto the historic 57-acre Rocky Creek Farm. Whole Farm and Summer CSAs and a seasonal farm stand carry organic veggies, eggs, flowers, lamb, pork, and pastured poultry, while beloved traditions continue: apple cider pressing, a fall pumpkin patch, and u-pick berries.

Spotted Bear Vineyards & Lavender Farm

Polson, MT

Spotted Bear Vineyards and Lavender Farm works a small planting on Finley Point, on the east side of Flathead Lake near Polson. The vines, first put in during 1983, are Marquette and L'Acadie Blanc, sold to Montana vintners including White Raven Winery in Columbia Falls. Summer brings cut lavender and flowers, plus July distillation classes and U-pick cherries. A cabin among the rows rents through VRBO and Airbnb.
