A farm and dairy on Lovers Retreat Lane in Saluda, Middlesex County, on Virginia's Middle Peninsula between the Rappahannock and Piankatank rivers. The operation runs a farm stand alongside its dairy in this rural tidewater community.

Mt. Crawford Creamery

Mt. Crawford, VA

Mt. Crawford Creamery milks a herd of Holstein and Holstein-Jersey cows twice a day on roughly 70 acres between Mt. Crawford and Bridgewater in the Shenandoah Valley. Depending on the season they run 60 to 80 cows and bottle cream-line milk from their own animals. Milk and dairy products are sold direct to local customers off the farm.

Six Days Farm produces 100% grass-fed and finished beef, pastured pork, and a grass-based raw dairy herdshare in central Virginia — always antibiotic, hormone, and chemical free, raised with regenerative methods that improve the land. Herdshare milk delivers weekly to Forest, Lynchburg, Elon, Amherst, and Bedford, and the farm store offers home delivery, on-farm pickup, and drop locations.

Whitegate Farm

Pearisburg, VA

Whitegate Farm is a 150-acre family farm in Walker Valley near Pearisburg, Southwest Virginia — where solitude meets splendor among mountains and maple trees. The farm creamery produces artisanal cheeses, pure maple syrup, and honey sold at the Blacksburg Farmers Market, while the property hosts weddings, the eight-guest Walker Valley Cabin, and hand-poured soy candles.
