Tulip Town blankets six acres of the Skagit Valley near Mount Vernon with more than 55 tulip varieties each spring, a centerpiece of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival through April. Founded in 1984 by Dutch immigrants, it runs vintage trolley rides through the fields, a beer and wine garden, and an indoor barn with shops. Leashed dogs are welcome. Bloom timing shifts with the weather each year.
