We are committed to agricultural practices that prioritize the long term health of our land, employees and customers. We rely on methods that improve soil health to combat weeds, disease, and pests. We use cover crop and we rotate crops. We use natural barriers, beneficial plants and insects, and disease resistant plant varieties. Herbicides and conventional pesticides? Nope. Not in our fields or our greenhouses.

Bear Hill Farm CSA

Bear Hill Farm is located in the southwest corner of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts and consists of 60 mostly wooded acres. We are a diversified family-owned and operated farm. The land has been in Mike's family since 1918 when his grandfather came down from Canada and started a dairy farm. Farming skipped a generation with Mike's parents and the fields grew back to woods. Billingsgate Farm grew more than 90% of its own produce on 75 organically and traditionally farmed acres in Plympton, with a stand selling fruit, vegetables, and herbs plus pick-your-own strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and pumpkins. The Reading family ceased operations here at the end of the 2016 season.

Bostrom Farm

Greenfield, MA

At Bostrom Farm on Colrain Road in Greenfield, the farm is treated as a living web rather than a monoculture — sun and soil transformed into nutrients for grass-fed beef and pork raised without pesticides or hormones. When you eat the farm's products, "you taste the system, the climate, the love and work from the farmer"; a retail store, greenhouse plants, a fall meat CSA, and an outdoor celebration venue complete the picture.

Chestnut Farms

Hardwick, MA

Kim Denney built Chestnut Farms into a pioneer meat CSA in Hardwick, raising grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free beef, lamb, pork, and poultry. The six-month summer and winter shares mix everyday cuts like ground beef and sausage with steaks and chops, distributed on-farm the first Wednesday of each month.

Chestnut Hill Farm Farmstand and CSA

Chestnut Hill Farm covers 170 acres in Southborough under the ownership of The Trustees of Reservations, running both a farmstand and a market-style CSA. The CSA runs twenty weeks, mid-June through October, letting members choose their own mix of vegetables each week rather than take a fixed box. The farmstand adds honey, jams, cheese, and meat from other local producers alongside the farm's own harvest.

Chockalog Farm

Uxbridge, MA

Chockalog Farm in Uxbridge, Massachusetts practices regenerative agriculture, raising grass-fed and finished beef, organically fed pasture-raised chicken and pork, and eggs, plus organically grown no-till vegetables and flowers. The farm store on Chockalog Road (Wednesday and Saturday hours) also carries vegetable and flower CSAs, fresh bouquets, and neighboring producers' honey, maple syrup, candles, and art — know your food, know your farmer.

The home farm's ever-expanding pick-your-own program and school tours carry out its mission: growing healthy food, building strong community, and creating lifelong traditions.

Hettie Belle Farm

Warwick, MA

Hettie Belle Farm in the village of Warwick, Massachusetts raises animals with care for people who give a damn: 100% grass-fed beef and lamb plus pastured pork, chicken, duck, and Thanksgiving turkeys fed only certified organic grain. Monthly meat CSA shares serve members across Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire — SNAP accepted — with free lard, stock, bones, and organ meats for members.

Hopestill Farm Organic Produce

Hopestill Farm in Sherborn has been worked by descendants of Henry Leland since the town's founding in the mid-1600s, farmed organically for over three decades and USDA certified since 2010. The Herb Hill Micro-Dairy is a diversified family farm in Pepperell, Massachusetts, 43 miles northwest of Boston, now in its 17th year as a Massachusetts-licensed raw goat's milk producer — does hand-milked twice daily on organic pasture, no hormones or antibiotics. The regenerative, holistically managed farm also sells certified organic eggs, certified organic meat chickens, and a seven-month organic vegetable CSA.

Three Sisters

Three Sisters Garden Project farms 170 acres on Jeffreys Neck Road and at Reynolds Farm in Wenham to run a food-access CSA, not a typical farm stand.
