The fall season adds a corn maze, hayrides, and a petting farm, with a crop hotline announcing what's ripe.

Ruggles Ranch & Farm Market has served the White Lake community since 1952 on over 400 acres in Oakland County, Michigan — a farm stand of homegrown sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, and cut flowers, plus mulch and landscape materials with delivery. The ranch side is a full-service, year-round equine boarding facility on 200 acres of hay fields and pasture, and the Grand Stand barn brings fall donuts, cider, a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and u-pick sunflowers.

Wasem Fruit Farm is a family-owned orchard between Ypsilanti and Milan in Washtenaw County, Michigan, known for pick-your-own apples, pumpkins, and tart cherries, homemade unpasteurized cider, and fresh donuts made daily each autumn. The farm also grows currants, gooseberries, plums, pears, and fall raspberries, sold in season at the Ann Arbor Farmers' Market — and dogs on leashes are welcome.

Wing Farms has worked the Ann Arbor area since James Wing founded it in 1852 — five generations and 205 acres later, Kevin Wing grows corn, soybeans, rye, and famous giant pumpkins, raises farm beef and fresh Thanksgiving turkeys, and sells Christmas trees. The fall pumpkin patch runs weekends with free hayrides, and the farm's grains supply Detroit's Two James Spirits distillery.
