Farmer Joe's Produce runs a seasonal berry stand and produce shop at 20994 Broadway St, on the Mount Vernon-Conway line in Skagit Valley. The stand is known locally for fresh-picked strawberries and other summer berries, plus sweet corn and field vegetables when they come in. Skagit's river-bottom soil grows some of Washington's best berries, and this roadside stop sells them close to where they're picked. Hours run heaviest through the summer months.
