2014 was our first year farming 16 acres in the Sammamish Valley just south of Woodinville, WA. We started planting in May of 2015 with only 1 acre in production. In 2016 we expanded to almost 3 acres of production and we are slowly working more of our fallow land into production each season. In 2019 we had approximately 9 acres in production with 150 varieties of veggies, herbs, squash and flowers growing. Each year we continue to grow. Click below to learn more about our story.

Held Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m., June through September, in the parking lot at Park Ridge Chapel, 3805 Maltby Road in Bothell. More than 55 vendors set up each week with local produce, baked goods, soap, woodwork, art, furniture, and ready-to-eat food. It runs as a family-friendly, smoke-free market and now goes by the name Park Ridge Community Market.

Fridays 3pm to 7pm, June through September, at Juanita Beach Park, 9703 NE Juanita Drive on Lake Washington in Kirkland. Also called the Juanita Friday Market and run by the City of Kirkland, it gathers 50-plus Washington vendors selling produce, herbs, honey, flowers, plants, baked goods, hot dinners, and crafts. Live music, free kids' crafts, a playground, free parking, and a lakeside boardwalk round out the evening.

The Kirkland Wednesday Market runs along Lake Washington at Marina Park in downtown Kirkland, Wednesdays 3 to 7pm from June through September. Organized by the Kirkland Downtown Association, it gathers 40 to 60 vendors selling produce, meat, cheese, flowers, honey, and baked goods, all grown or made in Washington. Live music and lake views pull a summer-evening crowd of several hundred. SNAP/EBT, WIC, FMNP, and Market Match are accepted.

Maltby · Agritourism Farm

Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm runs a 12-acre corn maze, u-pick pumpkin patch, and sunflower festival on Elliott Road in the Maltby area of Snohomish, open August through November. The season stacks fall activities with food vendors selling roasted corn, donuts, pulled pork, and cider. Admission varies by day, with half-off for military and seniors. Service animals only, no pets. The farm also rents space for private events.

Our farm houses sit on a knoll overlooking the Snohomish Valley and the rest of our 220-acre family-owned farm. The Hagen family has owned and operated the farm since 1949. Originally a dairy farm, the Hagen farm now raises natural beef, pork, and lamb, offers two homes for vacation stays and tours, and sells goods and offers classes in the roadside store.

Eric Fritch was born and raised in Snohomish where he raised vegetables and livestock as a 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America (FFA) member during high school.
