John D. The Chatham Berry Farm is a family-owned Columbia County institution — "your every day farmers market," open 8 to 6 daily, 364 days a year — voted the county's best specialty food store and best garden center. Erika Gogis, a second-generation farmer, opened this self-serve shop in July 2021 to give local producers a storefront. The Plaid Farm Store sits at 6419 State Highway 30 in Amsterdam, about four miles south of the Thruway, and runs on the honor system 24 hours a day. Shelves hold baked goods, produce, and meats sourced from nearby farms and small businesses.

Tomions Farm Market sits on Route 14A in Penn Yan, at the top of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes.
